Important disclaimer: 

The map below is accurate as to the location of our ranch.  However, the driving directions available from MapQuest and Google, or from a GPS device can get you lost or stuck.

 BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT TAKE TEXAS 34 FROM I-80, OR FROM KAUFMN, AND THEN TURN ONTO COUNTY RD. 279.  Give us a call, and we can provide a much better way to get to the ranch, or follow one of the directions below:

1) From Dallas on I-175, Hawn Freeway.  On O-20 in south Dallas going east toward Mesquite, take the I-175 exit to Kaufman.  Drive about 36 miles to Kaufman.  The highway makes a hard right curve heading to Athens, and a fork to the left going into downtown Kaufman on Texas 243.  Take the left fork into town.  You will come to a stop sign before entering the square, with a service station on the left.  Turn left at the stop sign onto Jefferson St.  After two blocks the street turns to the left and becomes FM 987.  Follow 987 for three miles to Post Oak Bend.  You will see a convenience store/gas station on the right.  Turn right at the store onto County Rd. 279/Post Oak Bend Rd.  Follow the County Rd. for 2.5 miles, and Brooks Lane comes in from the left. Take a left on Brooks Ln. and our driveway is the fourth on the left.

2) From Dallas on US-80.  On US-80, heading east toward Mesquite, drive about 30 miles to Terrell.  As you approach Terrell, there will be an exit saying I-80, Terrell.  Stay on the Interstate, and do not exit.  The highway will curve to the right and straighten out, with a sign saying Terrell Next Three Exits.  The next sign will say FM 148, 1 Mile.  Take the exit for FM 148, and turn right at the stop sign.  Follow 148 for about 7 miles until FM 987 comes in from the left.  Turn left onto FM 987.  Follow this for about three miles until you come to a four-way stop with blinking lights.  Go straight through this intersection and continue for another three miles.  At Post Oak Bend, you will find a convenience store on the left.  Take a left next to the store, onto County Rd. 279.  Stay on 279 for about 2.5 miles and Brooks Ln. comes in from the left.  Take a left onto Brooks Ln. and our driveway is the fourth on the left.

3) From Tyler and points east of Terrell.  On I-20, take the exit for FM 148 and turn left.  Follow 148 for about 7 miles, and FM 987 will come in from the left.  Turn left onto FM 987.  Follow this for about three miles until you come to a four-way stop with blinking lights.  Go straight through this intersection and continue for another three miles.  At Post Oak Bend, you will find a convenience store on the left.  Take a left next to the store, onto County Rd. 279.  Stay on 279 for about 2.5 miles and Brooks Ln. comes in from the left.  Take a left onto Brooks Ln. and our driveway is the fourth on the left.

4) From Rockwall/Lake Ray Hubbard.  From US-67 take FM 205 south toward Terrell.  In Terrell, at the intesection with US-80, FM-205 becomes FM-148.  Cross US-80 and follow FM 148 for about 9 miles until FM 987 comes in from the left.  Turn left onto FM 987.  Follow this for about three miles until you come to a four-way stop with blinking lights.  Go straight through this intersection and continue for another three miles.  At Post Oak Bend, you will find a convenience store on the left.  Take a left next to the store, onto County Rd. 279.  Stay on 279 for about 2.5 miles and Brooks Ln. comes in from the left.  Take a left onto Brooks Ln. and our driveway is the fourth on the left.

5) From Greenville on Texas 34.  Heading south on Texas 34 from Greenville you will arrive in Terrell.  Turn right at I-80 and go to the next traffic light.  Take a left at the light, Virginia St./Texas 34, and follow this for about 3 miles.  FM 2578 comes in from the right, but it is not well marked.  Take a right on FM 2578 and follow this for about 7 miles.  At the four-way stop sign with blinking lights, turn left onto FM 987.  Follow this for about three miles to Post Oak Bend.  At Post Oak Bend, you will find a convenience store on the left.  Take a left next to the store, onto County Rd. 279.  Stay on 279 for about 2.5 miles and Brooks Ln. comes in from the left.  Take a left onto Brooks Ln. and our driveway is the fourth on the left.
