MJ's Storm Cloud

Initially, we had another service sire picked out for Stars, but for one reason or another, she did not hold her pregnancy.  We sent her to visit Dr. Toni Cotton, who had a serious conversation with Stars and she got pregnant right away.  Bred to Posiedon's Storm Cat, Stars produced a striking female cria, MJ's Storm Cloud.  The genetic blend of Posidon and Snowmass Red Hot Cognac is quite striking.  Stormy is one fine girl.  She is stunningly pretty, with a feminine yet robust body style, typey head, and a striking color with red overtones.  Stormy's pedigree uncovers a deep collection from some of the country's most distinguished breeding programs.

Pacu Chaccoyo

We lost our exquisite herd sire, Snowmass Chaccoyo in August, 2010.  We looked for some time for a male of equal quality, but had trouble locating one.  The Pucura Auction came up and we submitted the winning bid on Snowmass Matrix Freedom as Chaccoyo's replacement.  Fortunately, Freedom is that elite quality we were searching for, but he is not Chaccoyo's replacement, Pacu Chaccoyo is.  

This young male exhibits all the wonderful qualities of his sire: extreme density, extreme fineness, very bright white fleece, and strong architecture in his fleece characteristics.   Blending Chaccoyo's elite genetics and his physical characteristics with those from Augusta were a winning combination.  Even though we lost such a wonderful male as Chaccoyo, we cannot be happier with his son and replacement, Pacu Chaccoyo.

Incan Maxxx

Nightingale's sire, Andean Night, has been an interest of ours for quite some time.  We wanted to breed Stars at Night with him, hoping for an upscale version of them both.  However, Stars was young, and could not hold her first pregnancy.  So, we opted for one of Andean Night's crais, Nightingale.  Fortunately, we had an opportunity to choose Incan XXXtreme for her first breeding.  Nightingale gave us a male cria, Incan Maxxx. 

Maxxx's head is blocky, typey, fully covered with fleece, and quite handsome.  His body type is robust, and he will not submit in any altercation he encounters in the paddock.  This guy is powerpacked from the ground, up, and his genetics package is strong with elite Snowmass genetics on top and bottom.  He will enhance any breeding program.

We initially sent a different female for breeding with Andean Night, a sire we selected especially for his individual qualities and his genetics.  That breeding did not work out, so we exchanged it for one with Theresa.  She has easy pregnancies, and is an exceptional mother. 

We are so pleased with the outcome.  His bright true black fleece is free of white fibers,  and developing wonderful crimpy architecture.  Andean Dark Night is a great young male and will become one of our go-to guys when he grows up.
