Lucita ALOA

Our full Chilean matron, Lucita, is the Grand Lady of the Paddock.  She is the dam to Stars At Night, and holds court over all that live under her protection - or at least that's how she sees it.  Lucita is a beautiful Meduim Gray now, but was registered as a True Black, so we feel she was always a Dark Gray and the gray color took over during the past years.  She is a great, attentive mother, and produces beautiful crias.  Lucita is currently open.

Cognac's Stars At Night

DOB: 10/26/2005 

Stars is a Peruvian/Chilean mix with strong emphasis on the Snowmass influence.  Her True Black fleece is very dense, bright, wonderfully soft to the hand, and easy on the eye.  She has a few white spots on her chin, on her belly, and has white socks on the front feet.  Quite beautiful in our opinion.  Stars is currently bred to Dundee's AJ Stormcat, for a Fall 2010 delivery.  Our Treasure of Airlie is our choice for her next breeding.

Ameripaca's Theresa

DOB: 05/01/1998

 
Theresa is the first alpaca we added to our herd.  She has produced such award winning crias, as Tobiano, and our own Treasure of Airlie (see our Herd Sires).  Theresa carried 22 micron fiber into her seventh year.  Since then, we have not bothered with fiber testing, but we know her fleece maintains a fine handle and high density.  Theresa delivered a female cria, Zindel's Hot Toddy, by Windrush Jennifer's Zindel, in the Fall of 2009, and is due to deliver a Snowmass Andean Night cria in October of 2010.
