Xcella

We chose Xcella for her Quetzal/Timoteo connections.  Xcella is a beautiful Mahogny color.  Her rich brown color is enhanced with a reddish hue which makes her distinctive in a crowd.  Xcella is the largest alpaca in our herd.  Xcella is bred to our Airlie, which provides a blend of Yupanqui, and Fabio, with Xcella's Timoteo/Quetzal.  Xcella is due to deliver in the Fall of 2010, and priced to sell.

Marcella

DOB: 08/29/2002

Marcella came to our ranch with good references.  We obtained her specifically for breeding with our Treasure of Airlie (see our Herdsires page).  Marcella' genetic package (Hemingway and Quetzal) provides a good compliment for Airlie (Yupanqui and Fabio) and their crias should add to the quality of our breeding program.  Marcella is bred to Airlie for a Fall 2010 cria.

Soleado's Andean Nightingale

Nightingale brings a new line of Snowmass genetics into our herd.  We initially found Nightingale's sire, Andean Night, for our Stars at Night, but decided to acquire one of his offspring instead.  The color in her background works well with our herd, and her mixture of exceptional genes adds an extra dimension to our breeding program.
